Built in 1914 for the publisher and editor of The Oregonian, Henry Pittock, the Pittock Mansion is a stunningly large and beautiful French Renaissance-inspired home, now open to the public for tours of its architectural majesty and historical value. Inside, the home is decorated with period furnishings, valuable antiques and beautiful artworks. Overlooking the city's Downtown and providing an excellent view of Mount Hood, the mansion sits just north of Washington Park, a large natural area containing such attractions as the Oregon Zoo and the Portland Japanese Garden.

Hours of Operation:

Open Feb - Jun and Sep - Dec: daily 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Jul - Aug: daily 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Closed Jan.

Adults $7; Seniors (65+) $6; Youth (6-18) $4.
