Description:

An expansive natural area, Forest Park's 5,000 acres feature miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. Its beautiful land is filled with Douglas fir trees and is home to over 100 species of mammals and birds. Its Wildwood Trail connects the park to a 40-mile bicycle loop that extends into the city. The park runs primarily northwest-southeast, with its lowest point just two miles from downtown Portland.
