The World Forestry Center aims to educate visitors about the importance of preserving forests and various trees through two tree farms, the Discovery Museum and the socially involved World Forest Institute. Exhibits within the museum focus on providing a fun and educational experience for children and families, with interactive play areas reflecting nature and forests from around the world. The museum and outdoor areas are located in Washington Park to the west of the city, near the Portland Children's Museum and the Oregon Zoo.
Open daily 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Discovery Museum: Adults $7; Seniors (62+) $6; Children (3-18) $5; Children 2 and under are free. Parking $1.
