We strive to be Portland's premier environmentally friendly collision repair shop. We recycle all used or damaged parts including glass, plastic, metal and rubber. We use eco-friendly materials including our water based paint, recycled paper products and green cleaning agents. We have a sidewinder waste recycling machine which allows us to reduce and reuse our hazardous liquids.
We strive to reduce our environmental footprint dramatically. We have a Binks air surround down draft bake booth, a Binks conventional cross flow booth and two dedicated prep stations.
All vehicles are liquid masked to eliminate the use and waste of plastic wrap.
We use Sherwin Williams AWX waterborne paint, which is a water -based paint system considered to be the most advanced automotive refinish technology available. Along with being the best, it's an eco-friendly product that is congruent with our desire to be an eco-friendly collision repair shop. By using AWX we reduce or VOC output by 70%.

Our building is part of the historical registry in Portland. Our secured facility is over 22,000 square feet with a drive in estimating area which includes indoor storage and parking.

I had my vehicle successfully repaired 4 years ago so when I was involved in an accident 2 weeks ago I went back to New Dimension. Noticed the place was spruced up a bit and found out there was a new owner Dannie who was super friendly and provided a quick estimate on the spot. When it came time for the repair this week, he took care of arranging the rental car and had the vehicle finished early even. Repair was perfect and would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

A New Dimension is under new ownership! In October of 2008 my husband Dannie and I bought the business from Mr. Wong. We gave it a thorough cleaning and brought in eco-friendly products! I am very surprised at the review above as myself and several friends have been going to New Dimension for five years now and frankly they are the best outfit I have found. The statement "Sometimes people do not like what I have to say" sounds like something the owner Mr. Wong would (politely) say. The reason being is that he is a 100% honest man who respectfully tells people the truth of a situation for better and worse. We have had several vehicles repaired by Mr. Wong and all of his jobs have earned a solid A+ for workmanship and fair pricing. In fact the only clue that a repair has been done is that their paint work is better than the factories ! Highly recommended if you wish to have work done right by an honest family owned business.

The person that I attempted to work with was COMPLETELY RUDE!!! Couldn't get a straight answer to simple questions, HORRIBLE customer service. He also stated "people sometimes don't like what I have to say" during our conversation, which led me to believe that this was not an isolated incident! I just asked for a basic estimate, and was talked down to, and literally told that I was a waste of his time! My advice, DON'T WAST YOUR TIME!
