This is my favorite library location in the entire United States. Actually, the entire Multnomah Library system is fabulous. Reserve books, music and movies and pick them up at your local branch. More librarys should try this system.

This little store is crammed full of goodies! They have a great selection of used books and fabulous notecards, greeting cards, reading glasses, and all kinds of treats for booklovers. Speaking of treats, you can also find a candy bar or soft drink pick-me-up to get you through that long afternoon at the library, or just stop in for a bottle of water to refresh yourself while you're walking around downtown. All the proceeds go to the Friends of the Library. Plus it's a great excuse to step inside Portland's beautiful Central Library.
