About RingSide

RingSide Steakhouse celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2004. It's remarkable - the same family has owned and operated this nationally famous steakhouse for six decades. That's not only a hallmark for a restaurant; it's impressive for any business entering the 21st century.

RingSide Steakhouse has received many awards over the years, but, the most appreciated are:

* Tom Horan's America's Top Ten Steakhouses Since 1998
* Prime Time Top 10 Steakhouses Since 1999
* Wine Spectator Magazine's Best of Award of Excellence Since 2002
* The Much Coveted 2003 Award of Excellence Dirona Award from Distinguished Restaurants of North America

Try the Bone-in New York steak with an order of onion rings. James Beard claimed the onion rings were \"best I ever had\".

If fish is what you favor order:

* Chilled Seafood Platter
* Australian Rock Lobster Tail
* Dungeness Crab Salad
* Willapa Bay Oyster Fry
* The Northwest King Salmon

Just OK, doesn't live up to expectation.

The services was really good, but the food doesn't live up to expectation considering the price tag attached with it. The appetizers wasn't all that and steak was OK. I think i could get the same thing at IHOP. Well, maybe IHOP is not the ideal place to compare, but you get what i mean right.

The RingSide is more than a fine dining establishment. It is a culinary institution. The quality of their beef and produce is unmatched. The waiting bar is cozy and inviting. The chef plates his foods in proper proportions. PS: Dont forget the ONION RINGS. (They are signature)

Whenever we go into Portland, RingSide is our choice for dinner. We can always count on best in beef - the best service and the wine list is extensive. OH! don't forget to have the onion rings.
